Stocking up on sale items!
When you are at the grocery store next check sales on can goods; the dates are usually one year or more, such as cranberry sauce, green beans, corn, carrots, sweet yams/potatoes and any other vegetables you like. They can be stored and used in pot pie recipes, soups, side dishes etc. saving you $.I always stock up and never have any trouble using these can goods before any expiration dates! I also check bread aisle (for dinner rolls that can be frozen and heated at a later time), cheeses in dairy section. You’d be surprised at some mark downs the competitive grocery chain stores will have available. Or Managers specials. I have even found frozen fruit reduced that I buy, freeze and use in desserts. So the sky is the limit if you find time to check on these!
In closing, I wish you Good Health. cheffie cooks easy 1-2-3.
See YOU !
Good idea! I always look for mark downs on items that have a long shelf life.
