New Years Eve-Chocolate Appetizer!

Do you like sweet and savory? We do, we do… You’ll need one pound thick sliced Hickory Smoked Bacon. I make the bacon in the oven @ 400 F 12-15 minutes (we like it on the crispy side). Drain excess grease on paper towels. While the bacon cooks, melt either semi sweet chocolate or milk chocolate chips ( 8 ounces) in the microwave using 30 second intervals, stir well until melted. Set aside.

Yep! You guessed it we are going to dip half the bacon slice in the chocolate! Place each dipped slice on a parchment paper lined platter to set up, then serve.

These I can eat all night long! They’re delicious.

Give them a try! Enjoy!

Haven’t tried the chocolate, but I have done the maple coated, as well as honey coated, even sorghum molasses coated bacon. Eh, the coating was great, but just not a bacon loving person Cuz. I keep remembering Skeezix.
