Let’s talk about some Beef Roasts!

Many major grocery stores often have BOGO’S on Beef (which is typically high!); when they go on sale buy as many roasts (different cuts of meat and freeze) as your budget will permit. I love Pot Roast with potatoes, carrots, in the slow cooker. Eye Round Roasts for Hot Beef open-faced sandwiches (very little fat). Sirloin Roast to grill. There are so many recipes and options to choose from.

From one Roast you can make several different meals including lunch time! A cold roast beef sandwich with cheese on multi-grain bread. Beef shredded for enchiladas with cheese and sauce.

I personally use A Butcher/Meat Market (weekly), but I have been known on Beef Sale Days (BOGO’s) to load up!

  1. Yes, let’s do talk about beef roasts! Our chest freezer is packed with all kinds of grass-fed beef, as we bought 1/4 cow from a local farmer in October. There are so many wonderful dishes to make with all that beef! (And yes, ccc, I had cantaloupe and pecans for breakfast today instead of lunch like yesterday. 😀 )
