Potato Chip Coated Onion Rings

Making Onion Rings is both tasty and economical. You can use any potato chip you like. One 6-10 ounce bag of your favorite potato chips crushed (I leave larger pieces for coating). Using Buttermilk (1/2 cup and one teaspoon black pepper). One large White Vidalia Onion, peeled, sliced. Coat onion slices in buttermilk, add crushed chips of your choice on a platter/plate and coat onion well. Place on a non stick rimmed baking sheet pan. Repeat with each onion slice.

Place into a 400 F hot oven and bake 12 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with your favorite condiment.
