Fun, Sweet & Savory Appetizer

I love pastry dough and I am always finding new ways to use it. For us appetizers are a fun food to eat especially in the very warm months. Just buy a frozen pastry sheet, allow to partially thaw and bake (a pre-bake) about 5-6 minutes @ 350 F, allow to cool down. We love apples with a cheese base. You can use any soft cheese (cheese and herbs) you prefer (even simple cream cheese works well). Cover the top of partially baked pastry crust (with your choice of soft cheese) pop back into the oven 3-4 minutes. Allow to cool again. I used an avocado smashed to add to the top of cream cheese then added sliced apples. Easy and delicious!

Its also economical to make! Cut into your desired squares and enjoy!
